Running up the score

I just played a game against the Dolphins, Granted he whooped my ass, he was winning 31-3 after the third quarter. I would have much rather lost 31-3 than 55-24. You can call me a sore loser or whatever you like, i just think that if a team is up big like that than they should be forced to be more conservative on offense. Lemme know what you all think.

yea yo thats fucked up...we need 2 setup sum rules on that...i think once u got a 28 or more points lead u should chill out n play fairly

I only kept playing because you kept trying to score. 31 - 3 after the third was the score. You had the ball and kept scoring.......and onside kicking EVERYTIME! Don't forget I had the ball and was running in for a touchdown before I purposely fell down and took some knees. I agree there should be no running up the score but it should be mutual. There was no way I was going to let you keep scoring and just run 3 and out and keep giving you the ball. I prolly would have lost. All you had to do was run the ball and I would have done the same, but when you score in 2 plays I'm going to score as well. Sounds like a sore loser to me. I thought we were cool but here you go talking bad about me on the threads.....Ridiculous

I completely agree. I would have loved to have won 31 - 3 but at the rate you were scoring I had no choice. According to the rules we are not allowed to necessarily "milk the clock" so unless both teams run the clock out, which should have happened, it turns into a shootout. I can understand not giving up but even at the end of the game when your opponent is up 30 just kick the ball deep, no need to onside kick. You are only prolonging the inevitable. It was fun talking/playing with you and I wish it could have ended quicker and with nobody being angry.
